hi guys, i am new to this forum after a long search i found this site and hope you guys will help me.i have a 92 cb400sf it starts fine.but then the first problem is it is slow of the block like if you are about to start from traffic lights you have to move it with the help of clutch otherwise first it bogs then catches the revs and second is when i am reving and changing the gears it revs fine with no resriction but when i am trying to cruie in the top gear it gives me jerks after every few seconds but if you cruise below 5000rpm its okay pls help.i have just changed the clutch plates.

| Its running in safe mode by the sounds of it you need to do the resistor mod and de-restrict it. |

its difficult to know what could have gone wrong.
It could quite easily be something fitted incorrectly in the clutch.
When was the bike last serviced? _________________ Chris.

it wouldn't hurt to do it.
also (i dont know your mechanical ability) but you can do several things wrong during a carb balance which will upset the results.
So the problem was evident before servicing? _________________ Chris.
