Full WRS system, & scorpion end can.hiya.
I used to have a full WRS system exhaust on my Honda CB400.
It had straight through downpipes, and a Carbon fibre end can.
It gave off a nice thoaty/raspy note, and a nice deep tone at 3000 revvs.
I think it was stamped "not for road use" but their was a plate rivveted on the end that said BSAU ??? so (?-numbers) to cover it up.
It also had a plaque on it, that read, "No Fear Wako's Power."
It had a removeable trackday baffle, it had a good finish, however the centre stand had to be removed to get the exhaust to fit.
The pipework still looks good today, but the baffles in the can rotted, about a year ago (had been on their a good 10-11 years).
So I replaced the end can with a Scorpion one, off an R6 i think, its a stainless round one, with removeable decibel killer and its E marked. The new can cost £140.
But it sounds much deeper, and gives a really nice wail at high revvs, and sounds much better than the old end can did. Its not annoyingly too loud either.
It also gave the bike a nice performance increase, over the 10 year old system.

exhaustArnt you supposed to put exhausts on bikes that are specifically designed for the engine? so that the engine dosent get damaged?

nope
as long as it runs right, which is does.
However it doesnt with the baffles out, its too noisy actualy its a horrible noise. It may want a tune up, but i like it the way it is.
oh also most end cans are the same for older bikes, just different shapes round oval hexagon, then depends if its a slip on or bolt on.
I found a nice compremise.

can you change the sound of silencers or are you stuck with what you have .. as in some modifications to note of the sound.???

yes it is possible to change the note of the exhaust,
Some people drill there exhaust cans, which I dont advise as it can rot alot easier, and can sound horrible.
Or you can buy a different slip on end can, different companies make plenty of cans, which all sound different.
Some people cut down their silencer to get short louder silencers, and then rerivvet the ends back on.
And most end cans, have removeable baffles, some have 4 small cans which have there own silencers, or cans like the blue flame evo has twin exit cans, which changing which baffles it has in can change the note.
Its possible to improvise with these things, it may be a good idea to buy another cheap exhaust, so you dont ruin your original one, as it can be difficult to get an MOT with really loud silencers.

What exactly is an MOT???
Ok my bike doesnt have the original silencer, I don't know hich one is on right now...as in it doesnt have a name on it... will probably take a pic and put it up here and someone should know which one it is.
Anyway... It's kinda annoyingly loud sometimes... so just wanted to cut down on the volume.... the sound is really neat though.... very deep.... and it screams at high rev's.... neighborhoods can wake up...

oh in the UK
A MOT is what a bike needs every year to be road worthy.
(in USA its called inspection.)
maybe have a look around some companies for another system.

DownpipesWhere can you get the downpipes from? i dont fancy chopping up my origional exhaust to put on a slip on.

it should come with a link pipe.
If you find one for your actual bike.
It joins up right under the engine, where 4 goes into 1.
Then that will give you the right curve and end to fit a slip on end can.
your silencer and linkpipe is one unit as standard, and it will slide apart from the downtubes with a bit of turning.
