Fan bypass switchI finally have a how-to on the manual fan switch with pictures.
1.) There is one wire going to the thermostat switch. this wire is the ground wire coming from the fan. The thermostat switch grounds to the radiator when temp reaches a certain level. Radiator is grounded from wiring harness at top left bracket.
2.) Cut wire coming from thermostat.
3.) Insert a three-way connector and reconnect the two wires into two of the ports. (This allows the thermostat to work as normal if you forget to turn on the fan)
4.) Insert a wire from the three way and to a manual switch.
5.) Instal a connector to the end of another wire and put it on the bolt on the top left of radiator. This will go up against the ground connection from the wiring harness. Install the other end of this wire to the manual switch.
Fan should now work via the switch or the thermostat.
